ALUMINIUM WINDOWS AND DOORS
MB-70 is a modern aluminium system used to make exterior architectural elements requiring thermal and sound insulation.
It is ideal for various types of windows, doors, vestibules, shop windows and spatial structures. The system allows for the use of pane sets with a thickness of 21 mm to 57 mm in window casements and 12 mm to 48 mm in fixed windows and door casements. Such a wide range of filling thicknesses ensures that all typical and non-standard panes can be used.
The MB-70 system is characterised by a sensationally low value of
the heat transfer coefficient thanks to the use of special
thermal breaks and seals. It is of great importance at a time of
growing requirements in the scope of energy management and environmental
protection. The system uses profiled omega-shaped thermal breaks, 34 mm wide (windows) and 24 mm wide (doors) made from polyamide reinforced with fibreglass. The offered shape of the interlayers increases the rigidity of the profiles as compared with flat interlayers and facilitates the drainage of sections, thus ensuring proper thermal insulation under any weather conditions.
Tightness is ensured by the use of special seals made of
two-component synthetic rubber, which guarantees resistance to ageing during many years of operation and very good thermal insulation. MB-70 is the first system in which this type of material was used to make the central seal.
