The profiles have a heat transfer coefficient Uf=1.7 W/m²K. When using a glazing package with Ug = 0.4 W/m²K, the thermal insulation of the door can be up to approximately 0.9 W/m²K. This system is less energy-efficient than the newer VEKASLIDE 82 system. VEKASLIDE 70 sliding doors can have a leaf width of up to 3000 mm. The maximum leaf height with white profiles is 2600 mm. The permitted area of one leaf should not exceed 6.5 square metres.
VEKASLIDE 70 is manufactured on the basis of Softline 70 profiles. There are 7 chambers in the frame and 4 in the leaf. Both with a reinforcement chamber and steel profiles that stiffen the structure.
